Consultation on a new Enterprise Agency for the South of Scotland

Why We Are Consulting

In June of 2017, the Scottish Government confirmed that we would create a new enterprise agency for the South of Scotland. This agency will operate in two local authority areas: the Scottish Borders, and Dumfries and Galloway. It will focus on the needs of the area, driving inclusive growth, supporting communities and capitalising on people and resources.

We want to consult the public to find out more about what people want from this agency, and how it can best help the south of Scotland.

SoSEP Consultation Events

Southern Uplands Partnership are currently booking 28 locations across south Scotland for breakfast and evening meetings. (including The Ryan Centre & Creebridge Hotel) Tickets are now available for those locations. Visit the SUP page for Dates & Venues – By clicking a link on the SUP page you will be redirected to an Eventbrite booking page where you can reserve your free ticket. If you require more than 2 tickets for any event please email:  julienock@sup.org.uk and we will try to help.

If you are unable to attend one of the public consultation events we would still very much welcome your opinion.
