D&G Response to COVID-19 – Young People

On Thursday, July 2nd 10am – 11:30am there is going to be an initial planning meeting for partners to put together a consultation for young people about the impacts they have experienced in light of the pandemic. This consultation will allow us to gauge where resources and support should be directed in the coming months in our work with young people (12-25) across communities in Dumfries and Galloway.

Similar to the National #LockdownLowdown survey that was carried out by YoungScot, YouthLink and the Scottish Youth Parliament in April, the information gathered will be shared with all relevant stakeholders and decision makers locally. Although there will be an element of this that captures how young people have felt throughout the pandemic, the purpose is to gather information that allows us to better plan and deliver services moving ahead.
