While it feels like we’ve had a long winter, it seems scarcely credible that we’re already at the end of May. Hopefully, we might even be able to ‘cast a cloot’ and get out into the great outdoors to blow away some of the mental and physical cobwebs that have built up over the Covid lockdowns.
This edition of Community features some great ideas for getting out and about, including exploring the wildflowers in the Rhins of Galloway, Destination Tweed starting in Moffat, walking in Springfield, and a new cycling festival around Gatehouse.
As the weather improves, the temperatures rise, and the days lengthen, we might even be able to fire up the barbeque.
So, make the most of our fabulous countryside, enjoy it, but please respect it, don’t litter it, and stay safe.
