As discussed, unfortunately I am not allowed to give out copies of addresses from the electoral register, however Elizabeth Kenwright, Rating & Registration Manager and her team at the Electoral Registration Office might be able to assist. They can be contacted on 01387 260 634.


The following is the Councils fees and charges (16/17) in relation to Community Facilities which increase annually generally by 3%:


In relation to National Non Domestic Rates, I have been advised that…

If the community took over the management/ownership of St Couans Hall, Kirkcowan (N5141), they would be able to apply for 100% rates relief under the small business bonus scheme as their rateable value is only £5,200.

Over the next couple of days, I will send information regarding the following:

  • A breakdown of lets within the building including hours per week. This will include any free lets and council usage;
  • A breakdown of staffing hours.


As discussed, I have now spoken to Graeme McKie, Principal Officer Community Learning and Development, who has agreed that Donna Hoodless, Community learning and Development Worker will be more than happy to assist you with your wider community consultation. I have copied Donna into this email.

As discussed, many members of the working group are keen to share information by email. Currently I blind copy everyone into my emails and therefore you cannot see individual addressed. Could you please respond to me if you are happy for me to share your email address with the wider working group?

Our next meeting is scheduled for Monday 1 August at 7.30pm. Please note that as the electrical works have been delayed, therefore we can now meet in the hall (supper room). Thank you for the offer of using the school Kirsty.
